It is bustling with energy behind the elegant facade of the Art Nouveau monument located at Prinsengracht 821. Here in the heart of Amsterdam, you can find the Diem Museum of Modern Art. This is where the Dutch artist Peter Diem throws his soul onto the virgin canvas and where his work can be viewed all year. Hidden behind the facade are a spacious inner courtyard and two authentic seventeenth-century farms which, with the use of the traditional building material, were restored to their original state into the Diem Museum of Modern Art.
